How transdermal magnesium supplements work:
When added to a bath, the BetterYou™ Magnesium Flakes are absorbed in to the highly porous epidermis and through to the blood vessels and muscles beneath. Completely bypassing the digestive system where many nutrients are not absorbed. Transdermal magnesium offers a simple and scientifically proven method of magnesium supplementation.
The sensitive delivery method and purity of BetterYou™ Magnesium Flakes means that they can be used by everyone. This method of magnesium supplementation is suitable during pregnancy and nursing, for children and for those following diabetic, coeliac, vegan and vegetarian diets.
Add 150g magnesium chloride flakes (roughly 1 cup) to approx. 5 litres of water, enough to cover your feet. Sit and relax for 20 minutes.
Add 250g magnesium chloride flakes (roughly 2 cups) per bath. Lie back and relax for 20 minutes. Increase dosage for more intensive treatment or after extensive periods of exercise.
It is recommended to take a magnesium bath 2 to 3 times a week. Your skin will feel pleasant, smooth and supple.
